2000 mustang cobra?

well i was watching a 2000 Cobra R being sold on Barret Jackson. During the aucton the TV host made mention that there were 700 some cobra's made in 2000, and 300 of them being cobra R's. Now, i thought that there werent any 'regular' cobras made in 2000 or 2002, just the cobra r's in 2000. am i wrong or was the announcer wrong?

I know there were Cobra's made in 2000 other than the 00R, but they were Australia exports.
