Swapping a 4v into a 3.8 help!!!

I have the 4-valve out of my 01'cobra and a friend has an 01' 3.8 he bought my motor and trans i swapped a full termi setup into my 01'cobra and ended up swapping practically everything every harness everything,we are trying to avoid that with his swap,so my main question is i know we have to put the hydroboost into it and so forth but can we just swap the engine harness and have the whole thing tuned? or do we have to swap the entire dash harness and such? i have the cobra ecu also so i was thinking just swap the engine harness and ecu and have it tuned? any info on this swap will be appreciated.

also any other tips and so forth are greatly appreciated also!!
