You could just gut your car like I did to mine.
15-18mpg driving like an idiot, 25-29mpg city, 30-34mpg @ 1600rpm highway sustained. Long ass list of things taken *off* of the car. Enough to run 12.68 with a good tire on a stock motor from filter to exhaust tips. Cant wait until next summer when another good 100-150lbs will be removed. I do however have issues with balance right now being so front heavy. I want an IRS to smooth out the ride and correct my weight distribution. The car even with the stock suspension corners like mad just being so light. I can live with the sub par IRS and just have a nice riding car.

buy some electronic parts cleaner and clean your mass air meter, chances are its dirty. First thing i did when i bought my 01 cobra a few months back was clean the mass air meter, clean the IAC, plugs, oil, filter and air filter. my car just rolled over 100K last night on my way home from work (i stopped on the highway and took a picture with my cellphone) this spring im changing every filter and fluid, tranny, rear, antifreeze. if im driving like a douchenozzle ill get 18-20 but for the most part i average 23-25. granted i live 3 miles froim the highway and i drive 90 miles every day. im happy as hell with that mileage too, my 01 ranger i traded in for this car got 18.............

LOL I might be mad but that doent mean Iam not going to get that fixed as soon as I get the money for everything. When I do Iam shooting for 25Mpg if Iam successful I will be glad to help everybody with tunning number but it will be a while since Iam poor right now.

Just watch out for all the fuel washing away your rings..... Or if enough gets into your oil, a bearing.
Someone I think on here said they had a car that was dumping crazy amounts of fuel and it ended up just exploding out the oil pan. I doubt thats remotely typical though. Cant remember if it was here or Corral. Also you probably know whats up, but if you are having drivability issues and its stuttering and reeking of fuel you could just have a bad or disconnected TPS. I believe that will throw a code. I almost lost my motor when a rodent of some kind got into my engine bay and chewed my TPS wire right at the connector so I couldnt splice it back. I was a few blocks from a Murrays luckily so I limped it there and scanned it. Car was popping and the exhaust smelled of oil, and the dipstick was loaded with fuel. Ended up trying to solder it back on in the parking lot but it was too windy. I ended up finding an alligator clip which I managed to clip the remaining wire to the amazingly small amount of wire left right at the connector. I literally went right across the street to get an oil change and engine flush, once again thankfully an Uncle Eds oil change place was exactly across the street from Murrays, then I drove very carefully a few miles to the nearest ford dealership that stocked the replacement connector and wire. I made it a couple miles with a freaking alligator clip holding a sliver of the TPS wire together. Put the new one on and she's been running good ever since with all kinds of rough driving. I think another block or two and that fuel would have washed out my bearings and probably my rings too. I got super lucky that time. Needless to say I left poison out for my little critter friend. Also put a small box where my battery goes in the engine bay since it was in the trunk. I only wish I could have found the bastard dead for the gratification. He cost me well over $200 for flush, oil change, replacement tps wire, soldering gun & solder, plus the hours of my life. Sorry for the long story but I figured someone would get some use.
