There is a lot of potential in doing a short runner on the N/A cobra/mach 1 intakes!

its much easier to do the 96-98 intakes, and we dont port them like the 99-04s
As of late, Nazzman has been getting some negative reviews due to the welds on the bottom plae on his PSR intakes breaking.

Id contact Al Pappito at Boss330 racing for a PSR if you were going to drop some coin on a quality job.

By any chance does anyone know what angle the intake ports sit at? I was going to machine the ports to match the gasket and whatnot but dont want to go in at the wrong angle. Ill probably end up figuring it out but if someone knows what it is that would help.

Working on the intake some more I believe I finished the top, its nice and smooth, lost the shiny when I sandblasted it but its still smooth. This right before I sand blasted it, sand blasting shows spots I need to work on and I kept at it until there were no dips, scratches, rough or flat spots.

I think I am going to play with adding epoxy here and there before I close it up. I have tried running water through spots and have an idea of where it would help. So far this has been a fun learning experience and I think im going to try to get an aviator intake and play with the two runner thing it has going on.

What do you want for it, and do you have pictures of the finished product to include the inner details and welds?

Playing with the aviator intake now, got some progress.

Here is the inside of one for those not familiar, I have not worked with it much, I wanted to make sure I had a usable top before I started investing time into the bottom.

I cut off all the fancy aviator throttle body nonsense, playing with a new setup to allow a dual throttle body.

Started modifying the top, got to make room for the throttle body while increasing plenum volume as it should help with the short runners.

Bringing the low spot up, don't know why its there.

And this is about as far as I got tonight, waiting to get the piece back for the throttle body so I can finish the sheet metal part and weld that on.

And a quick shot showing that I have basic welding skills

that is looking really really damn good! personallu, i wouldnt run the tubes that far in for the t/b. i would probably not even worry about running them in at all, just make a place to mount it.

Oh they wont go in that far, I just found that tube in the scrap bin as one 90* piece and cut it at the bend so I had as much usable material as possible. I will have something better figured out, that was just to show where I was going with the manifold.

Doing the bottom is going to be fun, got to try to figure out a way to increase velocity for the short runners, and find a way to help the long runners breathe easier, those three slits don't look like they let a lot in.

I probably wont end up using this manifold, I have been reading about how what does what and think I want to try to make my own manifold.
