SCT MAF Difference

What is the difference between the BA-2600 and the BA-3000?

Both are 90mm MAF's.

just is a difference in how much you can tune them too. i have the 2600 on my car. i believe it supports up to 625hp.

well shit...thats more than what I'm looking to make. I'll go with the 2600 then.

What can the stock 39lb injectors hold up to as well?

they will get you to 500 easily. i upgraded mine because my tuner said that theuy would be at nearly 100% duty cycle when i put the ported on, so i upgraded them to be 100% safe.

Lol. Just sucks I have all of this to fix before I can really have some fun. At least I'm replacing with parts I would be getting anyways.

OH! Everywhere I have read says the SCT MAF's are direct replacements, but do I still need a tuner for them when I get it so my car doesn't lean out?

no really sure on that one honestly. i had an sct chip in my car already and it was being tuned anyways...

hmm. If I can get away with not needing the tuner for now it would be fantastic, but I don't want to risk it. I may not get the MAF or the Tuner for now, and wait till I fix the other things first.

The 5000 is the slot style that will also work in blow thru applications. The 2600 is the LMaf style. I have a granetelli 2400 for $230 (the old SCT 2400s were granetelli mafs with a SCT sticker on top of the granetelli name). They use the exact same calibration as the sct2600, but are plastic instead of aluminum. There is no way to use any of these mafs without a tune.
