Why are the Vortech blower mounts different between the 99 Cobra, the 2001 Cobra and the 2003 Mach 1?

I thought the front cover and accessories were identical between the 99 and 01 Cobra and very similar on the 2003 Mach 1...yet Vortech has compressor mount kits with different part numbers and different components for each of these years.

99 Cobra:

Why?

What am I missing?

I have a 95 Teksid block with 98 Cobra front cover but 2000 Cobra "C" heads and intake. Accessories are not mounted but I have multiple accessory / idler/ pulley choices from 95/96 Mark VIII, 98 Cobra, and 2000 Continental.

I'm trying to determine which of the three mounting kits would be appropriate.

you need the kit for the 99, it has the same timing cover as the 96-98 cobra, or 93-98mark 8. In 2000 when they changed the block they also changed the front cover. Just make sure you have a belt ten. with the 1/2" hole for the ratchet at the end, not in the middle, otherwise its more of a pain to install the belt. The different pn for the mach is due to the shaker assembly, same timing cover as the 00-01 4v though.
