Converting Cobra tail lights to regular???
I have an 01 Cobra and im trying to convert my tail lights to the regular lights without the amber turn signals so I can do sequential tail lights. I have read the forums on people converting to Cobra lights but cant find any to convert from Cobra lights. Anyone have any advice on this?

Whey do people like those lights? IMO, The all red ones look so much cleaner. But to each his own.

The amber ones are gorgeous. I was thinking of converting, but decided against it since I want smoked. They are also a lot rarer. One of the few things the 99/01 Cobras that I don't.

I agree. Im not a fan of the amber signals, all red looks much cleaner. I already got the lights and harness and they didnt cost me anything. I plan on doing a sequential kit. American Muscle sells a kit for $99 and Ebay has one for $50 and it says you dont need to change your flasher. I plan on putting my Cobra tail lights on Ebay and making some decent money cause I know they are hard to find.

[QUOTE=Cricket;2544711]I want them a bit darker since my car is black. I have smoked headlights, about to smoke the fogs, and I'm getting black chrome wheels.[/QUOTE
Thats cool....mine is black too. I also have smoked headlights. Personally I dont like tail lights tinted so dark you cant even see the brake lights, just looks stupid. Plus where I live there illegal, not that I have to worry about legal

you know me too well![]() ![]() The most that i have seen them go for is 200 and that is with the harness's. I had the conversion done on mine and wanted to switch back and found them on ebay (brand new) with the pigtails and got the set for 135 shipped. Im just saying that ebay is not always the best place

I just had a fantastic idea.
Why don't you sell your amber tails to wraither, and in return he will throw in his stock v6 tails? That is if both agree. Win win for both sides. |
