what causes this

my car kidna lags a lil when i go wot , like cuts out a lil bit here n there , what could be causing this

You should start by checking the basics, plugs wires fuel filter.
We need alittle more info for instance. Does it shudder out of the hole or higher RPM's?

sounds like a fuel pump to me.

Could be a clutch with a failing stock quadrant.

Tight normal feeling clutch but at WOT it would slip just enough to feel like a misfire. It would do this about 2 or 3 times from 3000-7000.

Quadrant wasnt holding the clutch tight enough. It was of course too late when I finally figured out why my 3 month clutch was already slipping. Most of it had already worn away.

If you go the misfire route and still cant figure it out, take a look at your quadrant. Biggest symptom was the hesitation happening more and more while hot.

maybe the wheels are breaking loose at WOT high RPMS...do you have traction control and was it on? Sounds crazy but it happens to me if the road is cold.

I had an issue with that and it turned out to be my alternator.
