I just ordered 1 5/8 american racing longtubes with a high-flow catted X pipe for my 99 cobra. i just rebuilt the entire engine so i figured i might as well.

just wondering if anyone else has a simular set up with ARH's and how they like it?

Any time you get long tubes you're going to enjoy them. They may not be the best price / performance mod out there but they're a good bump in horsepower and the noise is fantastic. You'll definitely dig them.

I've honestly never heard of that brand for our car but assuming it is for your model you're safe. Have fun installing them - headers are pretty painful to do. I'm not sure there is such thing as an easy install. Once the engine was out someone beat on the car with a hammer to get the headers on there. Durrrrr.

Enjoy them and make the next upgrade an exhaust system.

Thumbs down

haha alright. i was talking to a few other guys who have termis with kooks and ARH and ive looked at a few videos, they look bullet proof and certainly cost a pretty penny so im hopin they will be worth it. also got the high flow catted X pipe with them.

i have the engine out on the stand still so im hopin that will make things easier, hoping to creep up on 400 hp with the exhaust, higher compression flat top pistons, and a few other goodies
