Question

mach1 eaton swap untuned?


i just wanted to no if i would be ok to drive my mach1 with the eaton untuned to the shop and get it tuned ? its about 60miles away or will it detonate? or should i just trailer it?

If you have access to a trailer and it's not a pain in the ass to trailor it, then why not?

If you don't then you can most likely drive it. Just take her real easy.

Completely untuned? Or like a mail-order tune? Because if you swap the Eaton onto the Mach with out any tuning at all, it's not going to run...

True...I know a bunch of guys (non 03/04) when they buy a KB, it comes w/ a poopy tuned chip. You can limp to the dyno or wherever but you definitely can't get into boost w/ it or you'll be in trouble.

try to get your hands on a mail order tune and just baby it as much as u can without stalling so u dont go in boost.
