?s on 98 cobra
I purchased a 98 cobra not long ago with low miles on it. This car will see some time at the track and area car shows but will also be driven regularly. I have done the following mods- 4.10 gears, upper and lower control arms,re-enforced torque boxes,sub-frame connectors, alluminum driveshaft, high performance clutch, quadrant and firewall adjuster, pulleys, cold air intake, msd ignition, strut tower brace, long tube headers, off road h pipe, cat back kit, catch can, roll cage with swing out bars, race seats and belts, tach with shift light, multiple gauges, drilled and slotted rotors front and rear, rear seat delete, all fluids fully synthetic, rear diff support, timing adjuster, shifter. trans has been built and so has rear. Putting a procharger p1sc with 3 core cooler sometime this summer just wondering what to do next. Remember this car will be street driven about 6000 miles every summer. Any good input would be appreciated. Also looking for a sequential tailight kit for this car without replacing the tailights.

Well first thing

When we do the procharger I am gonna swap rods and pistons fully prep the heads and install a set of comp cams. I am also gonna do some fuel system upgrades at that time. After that money will be in short supply for the mods for awhile. I have a 3 inch cowl hood and a saleen wing waiting for paint. Just want more ideas of some good things to do. This is my first modular car and it is costing me much more than my nasty little notch has. The notch has been promised to my girl so I had to do something new.

Nittos for the street and hoosier's at the track. Kinda wonder what I am putting down for power right now? Not worth the trip to the dyno though. I tried to free up all the power I could, without losing power steering and a/c. I have the slicks but have not been able to take it down the track yet. It will be nice to see what numbers it lays down before the procharger goes on.

You can also order a sct tuner and get a few tunes on it, like track street and city

I plan on posting some pics when I get home. I am in Daytona this week and my pics are on my desk top at home. The catch can is a nice simple install.

I have the UPR one its a simple install if you look on their site they have pics with rhem mounted and instructions. Maybe this will help you. It helped my Irmc issues alot. Stopped the problem before it started. A buddy of mine has a 97 and his were filthy till he put the can on. Not having to clean them is worth the time and money for one in itself in my opinion. Those IRMC's are a pita.

Sweet!! My goal is 550 with good internals and the procharger. I am considering stroking it. I have a good friend that works for D.S.S. Do you think I am asking too much with cams, stroking, procharger and head work? remember this car will see alot of street time. Tuning may be an issue for street driving that motor with that much done? Like I said before this is my first modular and I am used to track only setups.

Nope, i had a rebuilt bottom end with stock heads and cams and a vortech supercharger on 15psi untuned and it made 460rwhp. I was told with headers and a tune i would break 500 EASY by my tuner. so ur spot on man with ur estimate.
