Tire Question =)

Okay so im currently running 275/40/17 on my cobra, i want to maybe switch up the rear to perhaps 285/40/17.. It is lowered with the Eibach pro kit. Anyone running this same setup, i want to know if if would have clearance issues??

how wide is ur rim, that mite be alot of meat for a small rim.

its a stock 03 cobra rim,

That's a lot of tire for a stock 9" rim. But I have 315s on 11" rims with an Eibach Prokit, and I don't have any issues.

actually it doesnt look bad at all(285/40) on the stock rims, i had 285/40 good year tires on my 2000 gt lowered on eibach sportlines and they didnt rub and didnt buldge they looked great

my friend has 275 on his stock mach 1 rim and dam his tires always look flat they buldge out quite a bit, but yet again i dont know if tha mach 1 and tha cobra have same width rims

I had 285s on my stock rims and they buldged like crazy. Felt unsafe.

id say 255 or 265 for stock rims, without having all that unessary extra rubber
