do yourself a favor and get a volt meter while you are at the autoparts store. I went forever without one and now that I have one I dont know how I lived without it. makes trouble shooting so much easier.
So did your car start after the jump or not?

run it buy your local auto parts store and have them hook up their stuff to run a test on the battery and the alternator.

Like I said earlier, the jump worked because the battery was dead - that either means that the battery is toast or your charging system is. Kragen usually keeps an electrical system tester behind the counter, and will go out to your car and do the full test for free. It'll tell you exactly what's up.

Okay thanks guys. I started it today and it was a hard start but it did start up. Thinking that maybe it's fuel related now? I need to change the fuel filter out and run some seafoam through the gas tank. The fuel pump is less than 10K miles old.

Dude! Quit thinking so much. Take the car to the auto parts store and have them run a test on the battery and alternator. If it all checks out good then you can start looking at something else. Yes changing the fuel filter is something you should do quite often on a FI car and it wouldnt hurt to go ahead and change it but focus on making sure the charging system is good first.
