Maybe I just need a new catback system? The exhaust on this car gives me no throaty sound when im driving it.

get a straight through muffler design or a MAC catback. I do not recommend the SLP LM 1's. They sound horrible.

I should probably note that I have a full Bassani stainless steel exhaust. Surprisingly it doesnt provide much grunt (at least from what i can tell).

I'm assuming the one that came with the Bassani setup. The mid pipe is different than the xpipe correct? Sorry for my ignorance (i'm familiar with motorcycle exhausts, but not auto).

Nope. The midpipe is the X pipe. Midpipes have a LOT to do with sound. They cahnge the sound dramatically on a car. Just as much as a catback will. Finding the right combo of midpipe and catback is the key. Personally I am not an xpipe fan. I prefer prochambers. It has a deeper sound. Xpipes tend to be higher pitched and raspy compared to an H pipe or prochamber.

Interesting! This makes it easier to understand. I'll have to check out the prochambers. I am definite fan of a deeper sound as that is what I can sort of hear through the cabin, but otherwise it almost sounds like a normal car when driving.

YouTube and our exhaust threads are a big help for picking exhaust. I have video of my prochamber up on Youtube.

This is from inside the car during normal driving
This is just a couple throttle blips.

I am going to try to get a video this week from inside, rear bumper, and a driveby.

Thanks. That is Flowmaster American Thunder catback, and off raod Prochamber. I don't have the really bad drone that everyone talks about with my flows. If I did not have those I would go with another chambered muffler.
