The joy of modding a car.....

Oh man what a day.... I have been working on getting the car ready for going back to the track today. Over the last few weeks I have been having an intermittent power loss on my PLX wideband. So I am checking the ground, pin tension, etc. when all of a sudden the power wire shorts the fuck out.
Well the power and ground are ran into some gay AC adapter plug. Well when it shorted out it warmed up the plug enough to pull it apart. Inside I find the metal tab for the power wire was broken off. Hopefully the damn module is still ok. So I'm waiting to hear back from PLX as to where I can get another one.
Then I tested the N2MB 2-step and it doesn't work. But thankfully Jay at N2mb answered my e-mail not 10 mins after I sent it. A firmware update took care of it and that is now working.
I also went after a front end noise I have had the last few weeks. It sounded like a strut and I found the driver's front was leaking so I replaced that and the noise is still there.
I still have to make time to figure out what the hell is going on with my linelock. Go figure SLP doesn't provide an e-mail address and I never seem to have time to call while they are open.
