Another exhaust question.
Hi all, I'll be getting my catback exhaust here soon within a month. Now here is my dilemma. I've always been a flowmaster guy, having flowmaster mufflers on my two previous cars. The exhaust now on my car is bone stock. What I'm looking for is the LOUDEST catback exhaust I can get. I want people to be able to hear me from a mile away and I want it to sound good. ALso in the future I'm sure I be getting some headers and an aftermarket midpipe (preferably h-pipe). So should I go with the Magnaflow straight through catback that says it adds 22hp and 25 tq?
MagnaFlow Performance Exhaust http://www.magnaflow.com/02product/dynos/cobra.jpg Or should I go with the Flowmaster American Thunder catback that is a chambered muffler? Flowmaster American Thunder Catback Exhaust System (94-97 GT/Cobra) at AmericanMuscle.com - Free Shipping! Or some SLP's or bassani or anything else? Like I said I've always like flowmasters but I want something that is going to give me the BEST performance and loudest sound. Wouldn't that be a straight through muffler instead of chambered? Any advice or suggestions, guys?

As far as the Magnaflow goes, I wouldn't even worry about claims of horsepower gains. The difference in real world performance between aftermarket units is minimal at best. You just have to go with what you like. Any setup with long tubes is going to be loud and get you noticed by all. Especially if you are going with an off-road midpipe.
The SLP Loudmouth is probably the loudest system. Pair that with a set of long tubes and and o/r midpipe and everyone that lives withing two miles of you're house will hate you. It's loud. So much that it's actually a very unpopular combo among the majority of the performance community. I kind of like it. It sounds a little 'old school muslce' like. It's nothing I would do though. I'm a big fan of MAC.

loudest catback is have to say is the lm1 hands down. i had it on my car with a slp catted x pipe and it was louder then peoples cars with o/r setups and dumps. slp longtubes, o/r x, and lm1s must be ridiculous.
