Ok, so i have someone who wants my car.
I have a few questions about them i still need sorted out

How are these things in traffic?
Whats a good shifter? is the stock one ok?
How hard is a shifter install?
How much can the stock bottom end take?

Doing intake and exhaust, will i see any good gains or just the average 10hp?
Throttle bodys - Worth doing?

Whats the first thing i should replace when i get it? Anything go bad?

Also how does she look?

A shifter install is easy. Here is a link to a write up I did for american muscle when I installed mine. As far as good shifter goes there is some perference to that but I love my pro 5.0 shifter. I don't know about the exausht because all I have is a pro chamber h pipe so far. I don't think your going to see much gain from a throttle body. The weak point IMO of these cars is the t45. First mod I would do by far is gears.

i think the 96's had a possible overheating problem. some sensor or something goes bad.
