Getting rims powder coated!
So yesterday i took my rims to a shop to get them powder coated black, cool guy good customer service they are gonnna d.a all tha curb rash off and also sand blast and powder coat tha whole rim everything...$45 a rim...i hope it turns out nice...anybody ever powder coat rims? how much u guys pay?

damn thats a pretty good price to take the edges down, blast, and coat them. What color are you going? Ive got a set of 2000 cobra R's and all the places around the area are between 65-75 dollars a piece.

Thats a real good price! Did they have to strip anything off the wheels? I had a set of stock satin finish 2003 Cobra wheels done which had to have the factory grey paint/primer removed from the inside and powder coated black for about $40 a wheel, and that was a buddy doing it. Stripping them down was a bitch!

i called alot of shops around here and they were tha cheapeat price, others wanted to charge extra for sand blasting and who know how much more for tha d.a....
i was gonna get them a semi gloss black, but i just went ahead and chose glossy black...i didnt have to strip anything, my rims arnt stock cobra rims mine are 18x10.5 and 18x9 off afswheels.com
