Spun Bearing?
Im pretty sure thats the prognoses giving the rattling noises i posted a few days ago. My car was way low on oil (Later to find out the oil filter was loose, hence no spots where i park) Stupid stupid stupid on my part for not checking more recently. I think it happened when i braked hard or went around a corner to fast. Split second no oil, bad news
![]() My next question is how hard is that to fix? I know it would taking out the motor right? or is there a way to get at it from underneath the car? Also does anyone know of good shops in Oklahoma, if i cant do it id like someone who know what there doing to be under my car

i wiped a bearing in my '00 back in '07. it sucked. had the shortblock rebuilt, forged internals, you'll have to remove the motor to remove the crank so you can replace the bearings. might as well rebuild the bottom end...

pretty much what he said. Sorry to hear about it but now you have an excuse to rebuild.
