Yeah, its a Sonic Blue cobra.. but for that asking price, you could finance or even buy an 07 GT500 nowadays.

The absolute best way to do it is Kelly Blue book the exact specs with 4k on it and dont spend any more than 3.5 thousand over that. Anything else you will never see again.

29k? yikes. i love mine, but didn't pay that for it 3.5 years ago. certainly wouldn't pay it now! sure the milage is nice, but not that nice. i think kbb is low 20's i would go a dime about kbb personally. there are more out there, so i would not be stuck on that one at that price....

$29K is way too high, but sounds like you have that figured out. Those are some nice low numbers though. I'm sure the car looks and smells brand new. That being said, $22K is the absolute MOST I would consider for that car. $19-20 would be more like it.

being a car dealer, i doubt they will go 10k less than they are asking. with that milage especially. i would say 20-22 would be fair, but good luck on even getting them to budge that far. i paid a premium for my lightning 8 months ago. honestly i am glad i did, because it was so well maintained, and had some good upgrades on it. but, to each thier own. i have always felt that if your gonna pay a premium price, you better get a premium vehicle. i have paid the premium price 3 times so far on different vehicles, and its worked out well. i would believe my cobra was one of those, and i paid 23999 for it in 2006 with 42k miles on it.

I paid 24999 on my 03 cobra in 07 with 37k miles....and got screwed out the bajeebers.....

considering your putting a motor in it, i would tend to agree with that statement. to this day i am not sure how my car is running as strong as it is. when i bought it, it had over 50 passes with a 275 shot of nitrous! yikes. but we ran a compression check and it was within 1% all the way around. and 120 passes later, still runs like a raped ape. guess i got one of the strong ones, and a damn good tuner.

I ran the KBB on it. With 4k miles, in excellent condition (trade in value - the standard most dealers go by) is just a tick over $18,000. I would say that $21,000 would be my personal cap. The major problem I have here is.. these cars went for 35k brand new. So this dealer thinks that a used car that is 7 years old still holds its near new value is fair? Blah, thats bullshit. Its marked so high because of its status on the street and in the enthusiast world. $29,000 is robery any way you slice it.
