Looking for suspension ideas for 97 cobra

hey everyone,
I just bought myself a 97 Cobra on saturday.
I was wondering if anyone had any ideas on lowering it,
if I should go with coilovers or lowering springs,
and caster/camber plates? if I've been told, it wouldn't be necessary if the drop wasn't too dramatic,

I am all ears/eyes..
thanks,
-Melchizedek

welcome and congrats on buying tha sexiest mustang ever

i have kyb shocks and MaxSpeed springs on mine and i love tha stance and ride...caster/camber plates arnt neccesary but my car came with them they do help if you go with a bigger rim and if u lower more than 2inches.

as for coil overs better ride and handling but more pricey. its all up 2 u

i put a set of eibach prolines in mine (i had them already from another project). It lowered it some but not as much as i had hoped. I didnt need caster camber plates. I will problay try the eibach sportlines next. Springs are the cheapest way to lower your car. Coil overs will give you the most adjustiblity though. The lower you go, the stiffer the ride will be. It all comes down to these two questions. How much money do you want to spend? And How much comfort do you want to sacrafice for better looks/handling?

thanks guys, I still don't know, which way I'm gonna choose. I'm thinking about the coilovers because I am really picky when it comes to my car. And if im not happy with the ride hight and stance of the springs I know it'll eat at me.

Here's my Bilstein HD's, H&R SS springs, using MM c/c plates. The ride is not bad at all and the height is really good. I had H&R race springs on here and I needed it lower, so I went with these and they're exactly what I wanted.

Edit, added pics:

CJponyparts sport springs are made for them by Eibach. Theay are almost $100 cheaper and have the same sexy ride height..and provide a nice sporty ride paired with the eibach pro damper kit and anti roll kit.

they are saleen's and I believe they are 18". I dont think there would be a problem with the quad shocks but most people just get rid of them anyway.
