why are you looking into lifters? is there a reason why you are looking into replacing them?
Lifters can be purchased from your ford dealership they are about 200+ per set. I dont know if anyone makes aftermarket ones but the stock ones are adequate. In order to replace them you will have to remove the roller rockers which takes a special tool to compress the valve spring and make it easier to remove the rocker. then you can remove the lifters, and just so you know they are hydraulic and not solid.

Okay well you know that 99 I was looking at??Well my bother in law bought it off from under me and that could be one of the reasons why the oil pressure is dropping right?

it could be anything from a small thing to a large problem. did he not get it checked out before he purchased it and what makes him think that the lifters are to blame. is there any sounds or anything?

damn, so the car was checked out by his buddy. Not trying to be a dick but the seller could have got his buddy to say anything and you guys dont personally know him so how would you know that he knows what he is talking about. Your brother in law should have taken the car to a mechanic and got a full check done. Before you guys start assuming that this one thing is wrong take it to a qualified mechanic and have them do a check to see what they think it could be

as ive said in your previous thread, it could possibly be the sensor. Ive had mine drop from the halfway mark to low pressure. At first I though it was the sensor but it turned out to be the wiring for the harness was grounding out to something and was throwing off the signal. Only way to check is to get under there and replace the sensor (they are cheap) and check the wires.
