1996 Cobra Missing out help!!
this past weeken ran into a problem. Ran fine then messed with drivers side plugs. Then was missing out after. Heres what happpened. My wires were seized one was and on one i used channel locks to grip the top round rubber and it tore some nothin dramatic...on another plug wire when I pulled out the bottom of the plug wire the rubber end cap popped off and was stuck to the plug..couldnt get the boot out so put all back together...ran like crap..
Next day went out got some anti seize and boot silicone stuff..changed all the passenger side plugs..used a coat hanger to get boot outcap thingy..i never put that back on cause it snapped in fine...ran better then ever next morning got same symptons...im assuming its the wires..but not sure.. it feels sluggish and sometimes runs decent then shitty..like the rpms willgo up faster then normal and miss..and dont have that snappy fast fun feeling that we all love...could those wire cause that or is it possible its something else.. im sure u all know what im talking bout on the end of the plug wire...the very bottom the rubber its bout 1/2 inch came off did not put back on..snapped in fine... and the othr one the very top that sits on the valve cover/head rubber top part of the wire...lil circle area put a small rip in..dont see how would effect anything as its just rubber...but rpms kinda jump high now with a miss...and its def not clutch its motr... anyone had this happend b4!! whats goin on...thanks. new cobra owner...plenty of gts b4 |

you need to buy new wires and have them all replaced properly.
