Question

93 mark 8 piston cc?

Anyone know the CC's of the pistons on a 1993 mark 8? and what the stock headgasket thickness is?

3-cc dish piston, hold on for headgasket thickness.

hmmm doesnt specify how thick the gaskets are. may i ask why you need to know that?

So if the piston is a -3cc what is the compression ratio of the 4v engine?

I'm using ported heads off my 03 gt 4.6 2v on a 93 teksid short block out of a 93 mark 8. The 93 mark 8 have different pistons then my 03 gt. I'm trying to figure out what my compression ratio will be but, i cant find out how many cc's the 93 mark 8 pistons are. I know my 2v heads are 42 or 44cc the block bore is 90.2mm and the stroke is 90mm and deck height is 227 mm. I have two different size head gaskets a 0.03 and a 0.06 . Anyone Have a idea? or at least what the mark 8 pistons cc?

all n/a 4v's are 3cc dish pistons. rings and ring placement are different on earlier pistons compared to later models. you are looking roughly around 11.8-12.0:1 compression on a 2v head.
