non foul plug mod CEL no CATS help

i have a 96 cobra. Xpipe No cats. I bought this car month ago and the cel is on. Went to autozone and they said both rear o2s. Now am I getting this code because the o2s are bad or because of no cats?
If its because of the cats ive read there is a mod for this. By buying non foul plugs and doin some drilling and stuff. If this is what I need to do can someone let me know what partnumber of non foul plug and help me get this cel off.
Im also wonderig since i get that cel is it causing the car to run no as well ? Just wanna fix this issue as cheap as I can...I hear its less then 10 bux...and would I have to do both rear o2s..Im confused as if I do both if I have too how many non foul plugs to buy and all that good stuff.

with no cats, thats probably what is wrong with it why the Check Engine Light is on. you can get a MIL eliminator kit to fix this or get a hand held tuner and just turn off the rear O2 sensors all together.

i cant afford the tuner at the moment. Wanna try the non foul plug way.
