when i put my 18s on my cobra, the breaks started to sound like a machine shop a few blocks away machining away at some steel. For me it was the change in weight for stopping, changed my brake pads and it went away. but that was in my case.

same happened with me. it gets really annoying, and worried me that it was something else because i figured if it was the brakes it would happen while stopping, so I couldn't figure it out for a while.

my brake pads weren't bad, but my rotors needed machining, so i took them to my local shop, and while i had everything apart i changed my pads too, and it solved it.
it was the weight of the new wheel putting pressure on the hub which put pressure on the rotor.

While i wasn't braking it made the sound, while i was it stopped as well

i dont think the hubs are self lubed. i lubed it up with some grease before i put the hub back on. my rotor felt sorta like an old vinyl record. not smooth at all. it's just easier to change everything while you have it all apart. thats why i did the machining and pads..
the machining for both rotors was only $15 bucks,

it happened to my front right (passenger) side,

i have some new friends that work at a shop by my house, so they helped me out with that because i didn't have anyone around to help.
but check if a local auto parts has loaner tools, and get a bleeder, or take it to a mom and pop shop, drop like 40 bucks and get your brakes system bled
