Whats a good shifter?
About to buy a 97 cobra (T-56 obviously), and I remember when I had my 98 GT the first thing I changed was the shifter because of the GOD AWFUL feeling of driving a 10 speed semi truck. Looking for some good inputs on quality short throws for it.

A 97 Cobra doesn't have a factory installed T-56.
Regardless though an MGW shifter would be the one I would buy.

I have had a steeda in all three of my mustangs, and have no reason to switch.

Although I prefer the MGW, I will agree with Weems about the Steeda shifter. It is a solid piece as well.

Kool, so I found a steeda tri-ax on American muscle for about 180. Can anyone think of somewhere cheaper? Also, what year did ford buy the rights for the borg-warner build transmission?
