1997 roush stage 3

Does anyone know how many roush stage 3 cobras were built in 97? I just found one and I'm trying to figure out how many were made. I know they were never offically marketed.

I've never heard of a roush cobra.

thats what I said. I started researching it and found an article from 98 in motor trend comparing the 98 stage 3 roush (mustang gt on steroids) to the camaro ss, but nothing about the cobra. I spoke to the current owner of the car and he said it is an SVT cobra with a jack roush motor. Its been a few years since I've seen the car in person so I cant really verify. I did see in the article something about a "Stage 2 supercharged" that produced over 400 horsepower. heres the link to the article. See if you can gather something from it. Couldn't really get much out of it.

I may be wrong but sounds like the guy had a cobra and swapped the Roush engine in it. Otherwise I have no idea. Good luck on the search though.
