because i see more to it than just a "pulley swap". You need idlers, Tensioner, belt, Tune, just to make another 20-30whp? yea thats a good place to start but your gonna get bored with another 20-30whp in 2 weeks, not worth it IMO. Just get the basic bolt-ons, save for a KB or whipple, even used, and then go through all that and supporting mods then to gain 200+whp

Wow!!! are you serious? if you throw's at least a 2 or 3 inch pulley on there's he's gonna be making at least another 40-50 HP and if it's ported it would make even better numbers.

There's ported eaton's running around making 500HP hell I've seen one run 10 sec's if I am not mistaken. : Your jumping the gun to quickly by swapping superchargers out for a whipple or kenne bell.

no, 20-30 whp, maybe 60 if ported

And i build my car for the street, its more than just about 1/4 mile and how far you can push the stock blower beyond its limits. i rather do it efficiently and not have to spin a stock Eaton way past what it was built for

Dnt get me wrong, a ported Eaton can be nasty, but i dont think Ive seen any ported only cobras making 700

YouTube- First Eaton powered 03/04 Cobra in the 9s, NO n2o!
and since u decided to edit, ill say it again. A ported Eaton can be nasty, there are plenty who do it, but IMO a decent aftermarket blower that you can run lower boost and still make the same, if not higher numbers is the more efficient and better way to go. Im not saying everyone has the money to do it or has intentions too, its an investment not just a weekly buy, but in the long run it would be a better payoff

No not really, who' says your not doing it efficently with a pulley swap? your getting the most out of something before replacing it no? you don't think a kenne bell or whipple or vortech etc doesn't have its limits. take a look at that video I just posted it may change your outlook on stock ported eaton blowers.

No I didn't miss your last post. your entilted to your own opinion. and what do you mean your intended for street use? what the hell are you gonna do with 500 + on the street anyway? nothing but a ticket and a night in jail. take that shit to the track besides thats where all the racers are anyway.

No shit their way past the eatons limit's but your paying 3-4G for a blower to run less PSI making the same amount of power?

I can understand if you go to the track alot but for the street cmon.

You already have a tune, so retunes should be free or half off. I run a 2.8 pulley with the stock belt and just a tensioner that I paid 20 bucks for. Pretty good for 30 rwhp. And I am still not bored with it, going on 3 months now.

I read if I get an sct live wore an 2.8 pulley and exhaust I'll get 70 hp I'm not expecting that much but even close to that is good ... I loome at the kenne bells if I get that I'll have to get a sra that's another couple grand .... So no I'm not getting a new blower I'm keeping it IRS for now an keepin the eaton

Installed though I don't have the facility for that the tools I mean if I had everything I could probly manage but where I'm at I can't .... And remember the whole point of this was what should I do FIRST .... I've decided short throw steeda cat back exhaust with 14" magnaflows dunno if I should dump it or shoe tips tuner and pulley probly go with the 2.8 and a fluidyne exchanger put a good clutch and maybe a heavier flywheel if my clutch goes out and probly a short time down the road get suspension work done but all that I can manage myself what all do they do when they port an eaton how much does it cost and power gains?

dont do gears. listen to the guys with cobras. these cars dont need them IMO unless its strictly a track car and your running a 28" slick. 2.76 pulley and a dyno tune. maybe a new set of TR6 plugs too.
