I make dyno!

Been forever and a day since I last started a thread. Way I see it, this is a great way to reintroduce myself...

Just finished up the last of the winter mods and put the car on the dyno this morning. To the tune of 441rwhp/393rwtq @ 6,000rpm pushing just under 10psi.

Long story short, John at HP Ranch felt it best not to push the aging motor past 6,000rpm as a precaution... too many times he's seen stock 99 rods thrown through the block once they hit 450hp. He said with ease I would have achieved 500hp had we the balls to risk it and push the car to 7,000.

Anywho, even with the loss in revs (reset the limiter to 6,500 just to be safe), I'm happy with the 441 number.

Vortech is a screamer. Sounds like a 737 taking off... anywho, I'll get pics and hopefully a video on here someday.

Time to go roast some tires at freeways speeds
