Are they the same across 96-98? I thought the 98s were a little "hotter"

they should be all the same, cobras are supposed to have slightly better cams than the other b head cars.

the cam specs are the same for 96-98 Cobra's. the 98's had a different theory on the ECU. This is why the cams seem hotter.

Not just B head guys! The 96-98 intake cams are the best preforming out of all the stock 4.6 4v cams.

The 99/01 Cams coming in second place, and the 03-04 Cams the lowest (essentially the same as mark8 cams)

Some mach1 owners have reported a 15-20rwhp gain by swapping to a set of 96-98 intake cams (advanced 4 degrees). All stock 4.6 4v exhaust cams have almost identical specs.
