Cobra idles great.. take it up in the rpms around 3k+, shuts off.

Like title says, cranked my car today, started up perfect, idled perfect for like 5 minutes, then revved it up a few times and then when the rpms started coming back down, they kept going down and it just shuts off.

Is this because of all the recent mods I've done and not having it tuned yet?

Had a guy tell me it was mainly because of the new cams and something to do with the idle will have to be fixed when I get it dyno tuned.

What are your thoughts on it? Think its just in need of a tune?

what mods have you done? You said cams, so that alone would give you issues without a tune. So if you put in aggressive cams and a lot of other mods and no tune then yes the motor will act stupid. I would get a dyno tune then see whats up.

Most of my mods are... intake and heads ported and polished, bored .20 over. lunati voodoo custom grind cams, cai, steeda underdrive pullies, flattop manley pistons, o/r xpipe, bassani exhaust, sct tuner, 30# injectors, 255lph fuel pump, headers are stock.
