97 centri cobra traction

got a 97 cobra with a vortech with an after cooler running 8 pounds of boost. it has a 3.73 gear. I'm looking for ways to improve my traction with it. it has upper and lower contol arms. lower control arm relocations. it has a 285 35 18 bfg DR on it at the moment and i was thinking on going to the 305 35 18 nitto nt555r. With the drag radials now it spins first pretty bad and half way threw second. I ran a 12.2 with a 2.05 60'. Trying to get it to stick to get it in the high 11's any help or input would be appreciated.

+1 on shocks and struts. control arms alone aren't good enough you need springs, shocks, and struts. Do some front suspension as well to help weight transfer to the rear.

width isn't as important as compound. You need a stickier tire more than you need a wider one, couple that with a good rear setup and it'll hook.

lower control arms are relocated? try putting them back to stock location and see how that works for you.
