Of course anytime you add that much power you run the risk of breaking something. Hell, even a bone stock car can snap something if beat on hard enough.

BUT, the axle and tranny should be fine with that much power.

Heh, this is a 3650 we're talking about here. The same tranny that GTs break. My tranny has been going downhill fast since I got the motor rebuild. I have to pray to get it in reverse. And 4th at a high RPM, I won't ever do it again with this tranny. I'd say to beat the living crap out of the tranny but start saving for a T56 or TKO. So when the 3650 does break, you won't be left out in the cold without a car for a long time.

The axles should be fine for everyday driving and even the track. The only time I'd worry about them is a high RPM launch on slicks.

Hard... not really. Costly, yes. Easiest way would probably be a 99/01 Cobra or 03/04 Mach intake with shortened runners and ported, Sullivan, or FR500 intake if you can afford it. A Comp stage 2 cam if you're wanting to keep it street friendly (with all the other things needed for a cam swap, springs ect.) Ported heads and just to make life easier go with a big bore block or a stroker (if you can do both you'll be well over 400). Upgrade your rods and pistons while you have it apart (go with high compression pistons since you're staying N/A).

Lastly, the cheaper parts: exhaust, CAI, you know the bolt-ons. With a cammed 5.0 with intake work you should be right around 400rwhp. If you do a 5.3 BB stroker you could be anywhere from 410 to over 500 depending on how much you do to your car.

for right now i have a c&l and mass meter, not sure what on road x-pipe, flow masters, pro 5.0 shifter, i think rear gears, only cause there is a trick flow diff cover. I was told buy a tech at a shop that it feels like i have an upgraded clutch. With that said i hope a tune as well. i bought the car used and now figuring out what i have done already. the gears whine a bit, but i'm going to put 4.10's in it even if they are already in there. and then a dyno tune just to get everything right a/f wise and see how much more i need to go

Cams and intake work with full bolt-ons. With the Comp stage 2s I'd be somewhere in the 370s. You really need to have a stroker or 5.0 big bore to get over the 400 hump. You could spend thousands for a set of GT heads/FR500 heads and FR500 intake to make close to 400 or tear down the motor to make at least a 5.0 and be almost guaranteed to get it.

If you can hold off and save an extra $1000 for a 5.0 block before you stroke it, it will be well worth it.

A 3650 can handle 400hp without any issues even 500 and more. Key is no breaks burnouts and a good clutch disengagement. Also don't put to much torque on shifter while you go thru the gears because you will bend the shift forks.
