Convince me to get 4.10s
I thought I decided I was going to go ahead and get 4.10s but then started thinking at 50mph (which is the speed I'm going 80% of the time) it'll probably be around 2k which is the worst drone. I don't mind it being up higher on the highway because right now it's at 2k on the highway and it's so annoying but I rarely take long drives and like idea of the car taking off faster.

IMO with 4Vs 4.10s are the conservative route. I'd go 4.30s if I could go back and do it again.

4V like RPM's if you do alot of highway 4:10's, Street strip 4:30 or 4:56

Will I need anything other than the gears and a bearing kit? Like say the installation kit? Or something to beef up the rear a little?

all motor/nitrous setups 4.10 and up. if you are sure that you will be all motor for ever then get 4.30s.
you wont go wrong with 4.10s. and you will cruise at around 2k at 65mph. i love my 4.10s

I just built an 8.8 with FRPP 4:10’s and used Motive’s master install kit. It comes with everything you need. If you want to beaf it up go with a girdle, the only other thing you will need is axle bearings and axle seals for about $40. AutoZone has Timkin and Pepboys has SKF.
