twins are not a bad idea. u have more lag with a large single setup vs 2 smaller turbos. i have no trouble driving around on the street. i have to purposefully be tryin to break the tires loose for it to happen.

turbo lag is almost a thing of the past but nitrous will totaly eliminate the lag specialy for rolling starts without having to burn your breaks.. but the main benefit of the spray is the free HP from the cooler air charge.

You don't even need spray to minimize lag. Ball bearing turbos spool 20% faster, and a good tune will go a long way - especially for twins

Good luck with your project!
please keep in mind this will not be a DD its going to be a car i keep for a while and just have fun with i dont plan on putting a tone of miles on it at all

First off, I would not swap for an 04 motor. You already have one of the baddest aluminium blocks Ford ever made. If I'm not mistaken, you would be adding close to 85 lbs to the front of the car just with the iron 04 block. I'd pass on that.

As far as making your power goal of 750 naturaly. I don't even know if that's possible without some sort of power adder.

I was thinking along the lines of 86er and build a bad ass, high(ish) compression n/a motor. Make around 400-450 to the wheels than add a 150-250 shot of spray when you need to. The torque would be unbelievable.

If you do go forced induction than you have a lot of options. A twin screw Kenne Bell would be sweet, but I don't think the Mammoth with will work with your motor. You would have to swap out for some 03-04 components. A big turbo would do the trick, two smaller turbos also would be nice. A F1-A from ProCharger would be sick! Basically you have a lot of options.

If I were you I'd keep the motor you have, yank it out and put a bullit proof rotating assembly in there, determine what poweradder you want than get a bad ass set of heads and cams to compliment it all.
