Cobra Problems

So the other day I start noticing that my A/C wasn't blowing cold, but didn't feel like fooling with it. Today I got in the car and it was fine, then on the way home from class it just stops blowing cold again while at a red light. So I go to leave the red light and the car just starts surging badly, I pull over and the car immediately starts to over heat. I pop the hood and realize that my intake tube wasn't on well (explains the surging) but why the fuck would it be over heating? Also, there is black crud ALL over the underside of my hood, blower, everywhere. I am thinking its blowby, but would the PCV valve be spitting oil everywhere? Oil levels are fine, coolant levels are fine, all other fluids are fine.

One more thing to note is I swapped out my tuners the other day (same tune, went from XCal 2 to Livewire).

well, seeing how much oil my seperator gets from just a 10 mile drive, i believe the black crud is all from your intake being off. however, i dunno about the overheating part...

Turns out the bottom of my supercharger is leaking. But still doesn't explain the overheating, and why the fuck is the bottom of my blower leaking.

Nvm, the supercharger isn't leaking, but there is oil getting on the accessory belt, and slinging it everywhere.

So you can't see where that oil is trailing/coming from?

maybe you need to try burping the cooling system? you may have an air pocket. not sure how that would have just popped up, but its a thought.

I don't know for sure if its oil, it could very well be my water pump leaking.

Can you get behind the pump pulley w/ a flash light and see if anything is "falling" out the bottom of the pump?

That's the first place I'd start...

Aww shit. Forgot Ryan.

Bring her up here; we'll throw her up on the lift and get her all fixed up

You need a break from classes anyways!
