The only con will be that it's iron and your previous block was aluminum. The pros are it can handle a bunch of power. Your heads and intake will bolt right up to this.

It was a special edition Mustang GT that was built for use with nitrous oxide just like some of the Saleen Focuses.

you would be better off using your block and buying a rotating assembly from them.

Well, that was my plan, until i got inside the engine.

I spun two main bearings and burned the crank pretty bad. I'm not sure if my block is reuseable with out having it line bored. Buying the short block isnt a huge price difference than piecing it together, plus i could probably sell my forged rods.

Will my computer harness hook right up to this?

It's a direct swap. Slap your heads, intake, wiring, ect ect onto the block MMR sends you.

If you keep the compression ratio the same on your pistons as your old block no tune would be necessary. The only difference, like I said before, is just the increased weight from the iron block and the stronger components in the motor.

The only reason you would need a retune is if you change your compression ratio. If you don't change the piston compression, put the heads on, intake, wiring, all the old stuff. Pretend it was your old motor. Everything will be fine.
