Is this a "my dad can beat up your dad" type of thing? I never claimed a 97 cobra is better than anything. Just making the point that mileage counts to some degree.

Ive had a done up foxbody, went to a lightning and then to that body style cobra. Foxbody's have always been my passion but I tell you what, I'll never go back. I say keep your Mach its gonna have less issues plus all the smaller wear and tear parts wont need to be replaced like crazy anytime soon.

I'd keep the Mach and if you're hell-bent on a fox body, do what they said earlier and sell your Mach, buy a fox, build it, and enjoy the extra cash.

No Way!
Some time ago i said to my Dad before he died that they don't make cars like they used to. His response was " That is a good thing " because the improvements in handling and suspension as well as the wonderful 32 valve overhead valve motor, there is no comparison in quality of vehicles.
Just my .02 cents worth. Also like previously said, the Mach is a collector the fox is a dime a dozen. They made a million of them. LOL |

I am not a Mach1 fan but looking at the 2 cars pictures I would laugh at the guy with the 89. It seems that most Mach1s that ive seen for sale lately have been for sale around 14k and that fox is in no way worth that and like somebody said before on here the Mach1 will be a collectors car in time. I am new on this site and I will say that your mach and the guy with the lowered red one(didnt look at his sn)have by far the best looking machs ive ever seen. Oh,,I mean no disrespect to anybody with a mach1.

Man, I can't believe somebody would seriously even entertain the idea of trading a 2004 Mach 1 for 1989 GT! That's insane on a whole new level of insanity!
