tuner

I think since I'm doing gears and need so many things I figured I'd start with the most expensive. I'm going to be getting a tuner, and eventually down the road have it dyno tuned but for right now just need it to adjust my speedo.

I know which tuner to get it's an SCT but I was wondering if I should go ahead and get the free Bama tunes from AM since it'll be a couple months before I can have it dyno tuned anyways. I mean will I still be able to use the tuner to have it dyno tuned even with some preloaded tunes on there?

Also my check engine light has been on since I put on my x pipe and it is catted but apparently it's because the cats flow so much better it thinks there is something wrong down there. Anyways will a tuner be able to fix this? I hate the check engine light being on because its annoying plus I won't know if something else is wrong with my car or not.

I know these are probably dumb questions so thanks!

Dick move guys. I pretty much just need to know if I should go ahead and get an email tune from AM/Bama with my sct even though I'm going to have it dyno tuned probably next spring.

Cause your the first person to suggest that! Haha I really just need the tuner right now for the gears I'll be getting in the next month or so and if I get an email tune will they still be able to put about 2 dyno tunes on it when I eventually have that done?

Hey Nick,

Thanks for the consideration during your purchase. Not only can we clear the check engine light for your catalyst inefficiency codes, we can correct for your gear ratio/tire size and finally, you'll get free tunes for life. These tunes are all developed and researched in-house on our dyno, and we can provide tuning for many popular bolt-ons. When it comes time for a supercharger, or something that you'd rather have dialed-in on a dyno. Our base files will be so close that you'll be able to drive to the dyno without worry. Let me know if you have absolutely any other questions, whatsoever. THANKS!

Chris
