A Few Clutch Issue's
well the 99 cobra i just got just had a rebuilt tranny installed along with a spec stage 2 clutch, upr clutch cable, upr firewall adjuster and a upr clutch quadrant. the previous owner said that he drove the car with all of this MINUS the upr clutch cable and it felt about like a stock but a little stiffer. he took it back 2 days later to install the cable. i do not like how stiff it is now, everyone i have spoken to say the clutch cable has nothing to do with it but they will gladly take my 75 bucks to reinstall the stocker. any advice here guys?
also the prev owner said they told him that only a very select few aftermarket cables will make the clutch stiffer and upr is 1 of them. anyone run this piece to confirm this?

just get a new oem clutch cable.. i dont think that it will help much tho.. but really how stiff can it be man? you will get used to it eventually.

i had a spec in my 03gt and it wasnt that bad at all. its pretty stiff man, i am sure i will learn to like it overtime but it sucks driving that badboy through town this stiff lol

hehe yeah you will get used to it.. i just dont think that the cable it self can make it that much harder.. i know that there are some quadrants that will make it feel harder but not the cable.

maybe the guy is confused and misunderstood them and it is the quadrant not the cable. but he did give me the stock cable. i dunno!
