mach one fan temp
i need to know what temp a stock mach 1 fan kicks on. because mine is kicking on at 216 degrees. and that seems a little high

216* F? Yes that's way high. That's even pushing the threshold for the motor running a bit hot. I'm having an intermittent overheating issue as well, but my fan's kick in properly at the correct degree. Give me some time here and I'll look up the specs.

Ya and i can figure out why my motor is running so hot. Ive changed thermostat to 170deg and water pump is fine

Dude I'm there with you. Mine hits up too 235-240. I'm spending the whole evening tonight tearing apart the entire cooling system, flushing it, replacing the ECT, new hoses, new t-stat (for the 4th time), new reservoir cap (for the 2nd time). Then I'll be purging it/burping it for a while. The cooling system on these 4V motors are a PITA.

Dam man i thought mine was high haha. I was told to chdck my head gaskets. And im gonna flush my stuff out tomorrow to. You should let me know how urs runs after u do it tonight

Already checked the headgasket when the issue was first happening. That's the first thing I checked. Was praying to god it wasn't it lol. Thank god it wasn't.
Didn't get a chance to do all the work tonight. Going down to the shop tomorrow night instead. I want to throw her up on the lift and replace the fuel filler neck gasket anyways.
