Was Not Expecting That....


I knew this title would get more attention. I'm looking to get an intake spacer, i'm torn between the php and roys. Anyone have any input on either? And what are the pro's and cons between them both? thanks guys

I heard that intake spacers yeild no HP gains at all.

Increases plenum volume. Thats (part) of why aftermarket tb's usually yield more hp/tq than stock

You heard wrong. It's an absolutely GREAT mod for $100. You don't buy it for the HP gain though. Like rst said they give just a few HP but the average gain of 10 rwtq is well worth it.

Make sure if you get one to go to Autozone/O'Reilly/wherever and pick up an EGR gasket. They are less than 4 dollars. Most of those gaskets get screwed up and the car will run like ass if it's got even the smallest of leaks. However, when I installed mine I almost wanted it to leave it that way because it sounded like I had the most aggressive cams ever made in that thing. But the car died at idle lol.
