Down and Out Again

Well last night driving home the car just started to run like shit like it was missfiring like crazy. No missfire codes, and i had the p1000 for not completing the cycle and the p0401 for the insufficient egr flow. Replaced the DPFE and it's a little better, and no codes, but the car still sounds like an old gasser, is shaking like crazy like a missfire, and I think I need to replace the EGR or at least clean it...but on my car it's a fucking bitch to get off. I can't get it off with the little clearance I have. What else do you guys think it might be?

off topic but i hate to say that ive had so many more problems with my cobra than my GT. granted its always small stupid shit, but its getting very annoying. its great when its running perfect though.

you could make a datalog to see if anything else is acting up. Too much egr, or a leak in the egr system could cause these issues too.

The egr really isnt that hard to get to. . . I deleted mine in 20 minutes.

+1. I feel the same way. Just replaced the alt and the thermostat the other day. Seems like this car is nickel and dime'ing me to death compared to my LS1 cars. But when she's good she's REAL good

Found out what it was. A spark plug blew out of the head. So the car is gone, and I'm in a new car now. That one will save me money, and two can't really mod it at all. So I'm happy. I have other priorities right now besides a car to mod. I'm moving out and getting my life together so a breaking car or modding a car is the last of my worries for this point in my life. Will I come back to a sports car or a muscle car later in life? Probably, but not now, and when I do I'll have my fun.
