i dont think i had to modify my crossmember at all for mine

I'm not sure if the new edges are too much different underneath but i dont remember there being any major mods required. Of course, I had them welded in at a shop so....im not 100%

I had 'em put in my '98.

I think you just end up cutting out part of the crossmember bracket, then rewelding that cutout part to the SFC.

No modification to the crossmember itself is required, nor do you have to remove it to do the SFC install.
