What's next?

Hey guys, just wondering what you all think would be a good next mod for me? All mods are posted in my garage, and am wanting to do something else to my car, since i haven't done anything to it in over a month! Let me know some feedback as to what you guys think it needs.

Thanks for the reply guys, I'm not entirely sure if my car already has an intake spacer or not, what is the best way to see if it's aftermarket or not?

To be honest Xectrik, i have no idea how they fit, i asked the same question when i bought it. The guy who owned it before me had it modded, so i was just happy i didn't have to do most of it myself!

Like the others were saying Full length subframe connectors and an intake spacer. The best part is both as cheap as far as mods go. Lower control arms would also be a good mod.

Sorry guys forgot to mention that i already had full length subframe connectors. I'm going to look into the intake spacer, seems to be a favorite cheap mod for the 4v. Let me know if you guys think i should do anything else appearance wise as well.

That reminds me of another question. My car is already chipped and tuned, but i have a brand new sct tuner that i wanted to use on it. How can i remove the chip and put the stock tune back on so i can use a Bama tune from americanmuscle? And how much would it cost to port?

if its a chip that plugs in the ecu, just simply get under there and pull it. if it is a tune to the ecu, then you will have to go to a dealership and have it reflashed. as for porting, depends on who you have do it.

Either way, when we program your vehicle, we're going to use the PCM code right on the side of the computer. This is the parameters that are right from Ford. So when our tunes go in, as long as a chip isn't plugged in the PCM, it'll be fine.

Essentially, if someone "direct flashed" your PCM, it will just think that your "stock" program is whatever you have flashed in. No harm done, there.
