5 mustang build(th400 03 cobra swap)
hey guys id figure id post up a thread showing the progression of my build..

since you started from scratch i would go ahead and do a tuck on all those ugly ass wires...will look 100% better.. or at least the ones on the passenger side..

what do you mean? doing as far as what?
i was gonna do this but i never had a chance to plug up all the holes in the bay so im just gonna leave it. looks kinda ugly with all them holes and no wires. what i am gonna do tho is simplify the harness.. iwont be using abs so imma remove the connector and wires..same goes for all other things i wont be using... ie: washer fluid pump, cruies control, wiper motor... also gonna be relocating the battery Last edited by terminated95svt; October 4th, 2010 at 12:17 PM. |

03 cobra motor comp cams upper lower pully w/idler set posi race port kooks long tubes still has stock pos rear but once car is all running it will be getting a mini tub with a moser m9 rear... 4:54 gears.... as for the trans i have a jw th400 kit..th400 trans will be rebuilt by ziggy's. they are based out of nj and i hear the do great work!!! |

Curious as to why you put all that MM stuff on there if it's going to be a drag car. There's a lot of stuff out there that's a lot cheaper, a lot lighter, and a lot more geared towards drag racing.

purchased the full kit for 500 bucks at a swap meet... couldnt pass that deal up.. i also didnt want a full drag setup.... depending on what coil spring rate i install i can have it set up for drag or road course.also went with this one cuz this car will be driven on the street and i would like some kind of streetable drivability.. wasnt looking for the lightest kit out there either.. so far from what i can see.. the mm k member, control arms, and cc plates are made verry well....
