Make sure you get an IRS Brace!!!! I'm sure you already know this, but just be careful with wheel hop.... Have fun with the new tune, the louder whine, and the throwing your ass back into the seat...

oh man dont fret, the 01 cobra still has gobs of power. yah, I noticed the wheel hop when I went to do a burnout. I knew that wheel hop was gonna happen, just didnt know when exactly. I now have added jlt cold air intake. that made a massive difference. just got new heat exchanger in mail today. Prolly gonna install tomorrow. I've never had a car that lights up the back tires at half throttle, its freakin awesome!!

thankyou!! I been reading quite a bit about porting the blower and am anxious to try it out as well. but gonna do the boost bypass in the how to threads first, not the one by rpmoutlet but the other one that still allows the solenoid to do its thing.

Where are you getting it ported? I am putting down 453 rwhp/483 tq w/ a pulley, cai, tune, mac exhaust and LFP front h/e, and thinking about porting the blower.

I am going to be getting a Stiegemeier port. My car final goes in next week to get irs brace on, 410 gears, twin gt40 pumps and upgraded fpdm. The only reason I haven't ported the blower yet is that the input shaft is rated at 450rwtq, so I am saving up to do the trans and port. If I didn't take the car to the track all the time I wouldn't worry about the trans.

Whistler19 post your numbers up if you do a dyno tune! You will love the bypass boost, no more dropping boost.

As other said, DO AN IRS BRACE!!! I just did mine and I'm glad I did, stock Cobras on stock tires have been known to blow the cover, and it gets A LOT worse with modding.

I bought a billetflow irs brace. If you race make sure you put one on!
