Recently my car (2003 OW Mach 1) has been shuddering during normal acceleration. I had just thought today that I was going to change the fuel filter to see if that was the problem.

So today the car would not even move at more than a snails pace, if you press the gas slightly it starts bucking and running very rough! It throws a CEL (P0190 - Fuel Rail Pressure a (FRP a) ckt. So I go get a fuel filter and replace it.....no results.

I data log with my xcal at idle and the first go round the FPDC is .27 and FRP of 15.3 and running very rough! I let it sit while calling friends for advice, I data log later and the FPDC is at .5 (maxed out) with FRP of 33.4 (I read 40-45 is normal at idle).

My buddy (weems) comes over and we swap his Fuel rail pressure sensor off his terminator on to mine and the data logs are the same rough idles with the fuel pump at .27 then consistent idle with FP at .5 (Maxed out!) and the same FRP for each corresponding Duty Cycle.

So.... I'm pretty sure my FP is shot! Just wanted to get some reassurance for all yall. Is it my FP????

Other question is, in order to swap an Cobra tank with stock pumps is there anything I have to modify? (like FPDM??? etc) Oh, an does anyone have one they want to sell me???
