Ran some quick numbers

Ran some quick numbers, and want to know see if anybody agrees.

With a 10% overdriven 4.6L crank pulley plus a 2.6 supercharger pulley, a Vortech s-trim will put out 7-8ish psi @ 3000 rpm!

(using compressor maps and estimated VE's)

That sounds sounds pretty sweet right?

Now I just need to find a junk s-trim that is rebuild-able.

yea, unfortunately I do not have the cash for building a boosted engine. Should be when my bonus comes through with the navy.

7psi on a centri blower @ 3000 rpm? Sounds like an eaton! That sounds cool in my book. I will have to use a wastegate + bov setup so i don't overboost and throw a rod

7 psi should be plenty safe. plus the centrifugal should be much more efficient
